The Society of Ultrasound in Pakistan is a multidisciplinary medical association of more than 10,000 physicians, sonographers, scientists, students, and other healthcare providers. Dedicated to advancing the safe and effective use of ultrasound in medicine, the Society focuses on professional and public education, research, the development of guidelines, and accreditation.

Dr. Raham Bacha serves as the President, and Dr. Amjad Iqbal holds the position of General Secretary, further leading the society in its mission to improve ultrasound practices in the country.

To empower and cultivate a global multidisciplinary community engaged in medical ultrasound through raising awareness, education, sharing information, and research. Society members are drawn from a wide range of disciplines including medical and paramedical professions, physicists, engineers, nurses, midwives, technicians, general practitioners, vets, and others with an interest in medical ultrasound both in Pakistan and overseas.
